Lateness

BSNS allows a 10-minute grace period for all salon clients. If you are running more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify your appointment to avoid disruption to other clients; please be aware that cancellation fees may incur. If your appointment is modified due to your lateness, you are still responsible for the total cost of the service that was originally scheduled.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

We appreciate every client that chooses to support Brown Sugar Nail Spa and hope that you will become a life-long client! We understand and sympathize with clients’ schedule adjustments which is why we request at least a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations and rescheduling. Late cancellations, late rescheduling, and/or no-shows greatly affect our staff as well as interfere with prospective clients interested in scheduling an appointment at the salon. We look forward to providing you with quality services at your appointment time and require that all clients have a credit card on file to comply with our cancellation policy. [BSNS is certified as PCI compliant. BSNS requires all clients to setup their online profile and enter their own credit/debit card information. We will review names on entered credit/debit cards and associated profiles to prevent potential fraudulent activity.]

Brown Sugar Nail Spa reserves the right to charge for the service amount if appointments are not met and/or cancelled and rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Cancellation/No-Show fees are as follows:

  • Canceling and rescheduling less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service(s) total. Cancellations or appointment rescheduling made within 1 hour of your scheduled appointment time are considered a No-Show and will be charged as such. Clients may cancel their appointment via their online booking profile, telephone, voicemail, and/or email brownsugarnailspa@gmail.com; please note that a missed call to the salon does not suffice for a notice of cancellation, please leave a voicemail if your call is unanswered.

  • No-Shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service(s) total.

  • In the event that BSNS is unable to collect cancellation and/or no-show fees, the client cannot be serviced at the salon until the balance is paid. All future appointments scheduled for the client will be canceled until the fees have been collected.

  • Clients using Groupon, Living Social, or any other 3rd party vouchers to enjoy Brown Sugar Nail Spa services must adhere to our salon policies; all applicable fees apply at salon pricing.

  • BSNS will not service clients who file illegitimate disputes for cancellation/no-show fees.

 

Appointment Policies

  • Clients must book all desired services when scheduling their appointment. Due to timing and availability, there is no guarantee clients will be able to add additional services (i.e. designs) at the time of their service.

  • Clients are to book for the actual service they wish to receive. Clients should not simply book an available service because their desired service is unavailable. Clients who book incorrectly are subjected to late cancellation fees.

  • Clients are required to book the appropriate removal service. Clients who are unable to be serviced due to incorrect bookings (prior product present without removal service booked) are responsible for cancellation fees.

  • Brown Sugar Nail Spa may adjust appointment times (by no more than 20 minutes) to properly fill staff's schedules. Clients should notify BSNS as soon as possible if an adjusted time does not work.
